Posted on: 15/Feb/2016 3:14:48 PM
Price of veggies have fallen down due to increase in supply at Koyambedu market in Chennai. In the past few weeks, the prices have been on the rise at the market. At this juncture, due to increase in supply from neighboring states like Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, etc, veggies price have got reduced by almost 50 percent.

Carrot was sold for Rs 80 per kilo and it is now sold for Rs 40. Beans was Rs 60 last week, and this again is now priced Rs 40. Similarly, there is a downfall in price of beans, cabbage, and other vegetables as well. In particular, there is a tremendous dip in price of tomatoes and it is sold just for Rs 10 per kilogram.
