Description : Laugh OK Please - Fringe is a multi-city and multi-artist comedy fringe! A first of its kind property in South India involving Tamil comedy theatre, Hindi stand-up comedy specials, sketch comedy, etc, this show will bring some of the most exciting comedy talents under one roof. The line up for the show is Daniel Fernandes, Azeem Banatwalla, Aswin Rao, Kenny Sebastian, Praveen Kumar, Naveen Richard.
Daniel Fernandes is a former advertising professional who took to stand up comedy a few years back. His subjects are mostly on recent issues, social stigmas and based on his own experiences. One of the biggest comics in India, he is a regular at Canvas and Comedy store.
Rated as one of the top 10 stand-up comedians in India, Praveen Kumar from Bangalore has done shows with Kapil Sharma, Vir Das, Papa CJ, Cyrus Broacha etc. He recently staged his first solo one hour special The Tickle Minded and Kancheepuram to Koramangala.
Azeem Banatwalla is a part of the East India Comedy group who are viral with their hilarious comedy videos on social media channels. An engineer-turned-writer and comedian, Azeem is ranked amongst India`s top 20 comedians of 2014. He is currently touring his one-hour special `Out of my System` across India.
Aswin Rao is called the Tamil motormouth. He is half marathi, half Tamil, ex-software engineer, born in Muskat and now living in Mylapore. He talks fast and rants about almost everything in his life - from his family to his work to random people on the street, from Brahmin to NRIs, software engineers to Indian marriages and much more.
One of the finest young comedians Kenneth Sebastian is a Bangalore based stand-up comedian, actor, writer, filmmaker and musician. He performed extensively across the country and abroad and his quick wit will makes you laugh. He is also an accomplished musician performing parody songs.
A finalist in the first edition of Comedy Central`s `Indian Comedy Festival` in 2012, Naveen Richard is an actor, screenwriter and comedian. Having performed over 200 shows all over Chennai, Bangalore, Cochin, Delhi and Singapore, he is a core artist of Evam Entertainment troupe who has toured the country playing the role of Hari in the adaptation of Chetan Bhagat`s Five Point Someone.
