Here are a recipe that you can make for your children - healthy and yummy at the same time.
What you need:
- 50 gm butter
- 50 gm cocoa powder
- 50 gm brown sugar
- 100 gm oats
- 25 gm roasted wheat bran
- 20 gm honey
- 30 gm chocolate chips (optional)
How to make it:
Mix together melted butter, cocoa powder and brown sugar in a bowl. Combine well. Add honey and mix well till you get a liquid paste. Pour over the oats and wheat bran. Mix until combined properly. You should get a moist sheen. Pour the mixture in a non stick, oven friendly tray. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 10 minutes. Remove and sprinkle chocolate chips over it. The chips should stick to the mixture in clusters. Cool and serve.
