Intensity of heat will come down in the coastal areas

In the next 24 hours, the intensity of heat will come down in the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu. Since there will be humidity in the winds the hotness will be there.
 
For the last few days there has been scorching heat in Tamil Nadu. Since there were heat waves in the coastal areas people were subjected to inconvenience. At this juncture, it has been announced that the intensity of heat will be less today.
 
Chennai Meteorological Centre director Balachandar while speaking said: Since there are chances of land wind from west and north west directions, the intensity of heat will be more for the next 24 hours. At the same time, the intensity of heat will be less in the coastal areas because there will be winds from south and south east directions. Tirupathur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 43.8 degree Celsius. Madurai recorded the highest maximum temperature of 41.3 degree Celsius while Dharmapuri recorded the highest maximum temperature of 42.5 degree Celsius. As far as Chennai is concerned the sky condition likely to be partly cloudy. Maximum and minimum temperature likely to be around 33 and 25 deg Celsius respectively.
