Well marked low pressure area in Bay of Bengal

A low pressure area would form over Southwest bay off Sri Lanka coast by tomorrow, 14th May. It is likely to become well marked low pressure area and subsequently concentrate into a depression during subsequent 48 hours over the same area.
Heavy to very heavy rain likely to occur at one or two places over North Coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and heavy rain also likely to occur at one or two places over rest Tamil Nadu on 15th and 16th May
As far as Chennai is concerned the sky condition is likely to be partly cloudy. Maximum and minimum temperature is most likely to be around 37ºC and 29ºC respectively.
