Agni Natchathiram bids adieu today

Chennai Meteorological Centre has mentioned that  Agni Natchathiram will bid adieu today and in spite of this, the impact of heat will be there for another three more days.
 
Agni Natchathiram began on 4th of this month. The intensity of heat was more than 100 degrees in various places of Tamil Nadu including Chennai, Vellore and Cuddalore districts for the first thirteen days. In between there was heavy rains on 17th, 18th and 19th. This reduced the impact of heat. Again during the last 9 days, there was heavy intensity of heat and the temperature was more than 100 degrees. Today Agni Natchathiram is taking leave of us.
 
Today thunder storm accompanied with squall likely to occur at one or two places over North Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. As far as Chennai is concerned the sky condition is likely to be partly cloudy. Maximum and minimum temperature is likely to be around 39 and 28 deg Celsius respectively.
