Upper air cyclonic circulation over central Bay of Bengal will bring rains

Chennai Meteorological Centre has mentioned that there will be rains in Tamil Nadu for the next two days because of an upper air cyclonic circulation over central Bay of Bengal.
S. Balachandran, director, Area Cyclone Warning Centre, Chennai, said: The South West Monsoon rains have intensified in Kerala and Karnataka. Due to convection there were rains in some parts of Tamil Nadu. There is an upper air cyclonic circulation over central Bay of Bengal. This will bring rains on 22nd and 23rd in some places of Tamil Nadu. There will be mild showers in North Tamil Nadu. There will be rains or thunder showers in the next 24 hours in Tamil Nadu. As far as Chennai is concerned the sky will be cloudy. There will rains in some parts of Chennai in the evening or night.
