BSNL special offer for the students who come for counselling for joining colleges

BSNL has been periodically coming up with attractive offers for increasing its customer strength.
Now, it has come up with an offer for the students who are attending counselling session for joining colleges.
A new pre-paid connection at Rs. 118/- is on offer from BSNL to attract the college students and customers who are buying new cell phones.
This pre-paid offer is valid for 1 month and up to 1 GB can be used. It can be used for talks at the rate of 10 paise per minute.One can talk for the value of Rs. 10/-.
BSNL is making this offer to the counselling students at the Anna University.
A special booth ahs been set up in the Anna Univeristy Complex for the benefit of the students who come for counselling to join engineering courses.Chennai Telephone General Manager S M Kalavathy distributed 400 SIM cards to the students who had come for counselling. As the students gave all the requisite proofs, their pre-paid SIMs were activated immediately.
M M Kalavathy informed that 2700 vacant posts for Junior Engineers are bring filled up. Out of this, 280 engineers will be selected for Tamil Nadu Circle. Engineering graduates will be eligible.
Meanwhile, TRAI has informed that the customers of BSNL have gone up in the last 3 months. There was a growth of 132% in the month of April alone.
Thus, BSNL is on the upward growing curve.
During the last 3 days of counselling, around 5000 students registered for the pre-paid offer. However, as they did not have the requisite proof, they could not get the immediately activated connection.
