IT services industry will lose 6.4 lakh jobs by 2021

There is a steep growth in the IT industry for the last 20 years not only in India but also abroad. Because of this there were lots of job opportunities. Majority of the employees got good salary. At this juncture, there is a shocking report that 6.4 Lakh employees will lose their jobs in the IT sector in the next five years.
U.S research firm HfS Research conducted a study recently. The report from the firm says that automation has put to risk 6.4 lakh low-skilled jobs or nearly one in five jobs in India’s IT and BPO sector in next five years. By 2021, IT industry worldwide would see a decrease of jobs, with countries like the Philippines, the UK and the US also taking hits.
