Update on Google Maps makes road trips easier

Google has now added a new feature to Maps that will allow users to plan road trips with multiple stops. Google hopes that this will make travelling easier for its users.
The update is currently available on Android. It will soon be available on iOS. To use this feature, the user has to enter a destination, tap the menu on the corner and select add stop and drag it to a relevant position on the map. Reports say that the user is entitled to numerous stops as per requirement. Multiple routing is complete once the user has added all the pit stops, the multiple-routing is complete. The feature also shows the user all the petrol pumps, ATMs or restaurants that fall on the way, on the map.
A senior executive of Google Maps said, Google Maps Android users will also be allowed to preserve their travel memories with your Timeline. The main benefit of this new feature will make travelling a lot easier and subsequently help people store memories made along the course of the trip.
