Guidelines for teachers transfers counselling issued

The Tamil Nadu State Government has issued guidelines for teachers transfer counselling vide its government order No. 258 dated 06.07.2016.
Teachers who want to participate in this transfer counselling should have joined the service before 1.6.2015. As far as government higher or higher secondary schools are concerned the transfers within revenue districts and inter transfer between districts will be considered.
The GO also envisages the rules to be followed in the cases of totally blind, physical disability, heart transplantation, kidney transplantation and cancer stricken teachers.Teachers who were transferred for administrative reasons and who are working for three years in the same place can also apply for transfer. However they are not eligible to be transferred to the place they had worked earlier.
