B.VSc and AH seats filled up

All the seats for the B.VSc and AH (five years) course offered by Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) has been filled up in the counselling that took place on Thursday.
Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) had invited online applications from candidates of Tamil Nadu for admissions into B.VSc and AH (five years), B.Tech (Food Technology-four years), B.Tech (Poultry Technology-four years) and B.Tech (Dairy Technology-four years).
15 per cent of the seats (B,VSc and AH) were reserved for candidates selected by Veterinary Council of India.
A total of 18,302 candidates had applied for 272 seats in the various programmes offered by the Tamil Nadu Veterinary Science University. As many as 16,268 candidates were found eligible. For the 243 seats under the general category 1,668 candidates were sent out call letters and 516 aspirants appeared for counselling. 128 candidates have paid their fess. The last date to pay the fees is 29th July.
Counseling for the four-year Bachelor of Technology in Food Technology, Poultry Production Technology and Diary Technology is being held today.
