A PwC research has stated that there will be differences in job and work environments in the future. The research adds that work environments will turn to be more flexible to employees.
Employees will prefer companies of more corporate qualities. Nearly 68 percent individuals prefer working elsewhere and not from office. So far, most of the companies are however continuing to work at their respective office workspace.
There are many who show interest towards starting new businesses or work with a network. This paves way for working as a team, said Padmaja Azhaganandhan, the chief of people and organization division of PwC India.
About 86 percent of them prefer working alone and show uniqueness in their performance. They like to have flexibility at work, a well controlled work structure, jobs that help generate more income, and those that streamline work and personal life.
PwC had conducted two researches in the month of May this year. One of these was done on employees and the other on decision makers in organizations. Out of the total assessed population, 1385 employees said they love their job, but resign due to excessive pressure imposed on them by their higher officials.
