Depression formed over the Bay of Bengal - Prospects of rain in Tamil Nadu

It has been raining in a few places in Tamil Nadu due to thermal convection.It rained in a few areas in Chennai from yesterday night till today (Tuesday, 19th July) morning.
In this scenario, a depression jas formed over the Bay of Bengal from the North to the West. Because of this, there are prospects of rain in many places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the next 24 hours.
Chennai city will be cloudy. The Meteorological Department officials informed that it may rain or rain with thunder in the evening or night.
