Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu will be inaugurating the high speed wi-fi services at Chennai Central Station on 24th of this month.
Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu will be touring Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh from 23rd to 25th. During this visit he will be inaugurating various schemes in Chennai, Bangalore and Nellore. Suresh Prabhu will be coming to Chennai on 23rd night at 8.25 pm. On 24th morning between 10.30 am and 11.30 am will be inaugurating various schemes in Tamil Nadu.
He will be inaugurating the upgraded high speed wi-fi system in Chennai Central Railway station. From Chennai Central Railway station he will inaugurate the genetic medical service facilities under Ayush scheme in Perambur Railway Hospital. Apart from this he will also inaugurate the newly laid fourth broad gauge line between Tiruvallur and Tiruvalangadu railway stations on the Chennai - Arakkonam section.
Through video conferencing he will inaugurate various projects in various places including the broad gauge railway section connecting Rameswaram in Ramanathapuram district and Manamadurai in Sivaganga district. This will become the first green corridor of Indian Railway.
