Rainfall in Chennai and 19 districts due to convention and monsoon

Due to heat conventions and South West Monsoon, decent graph of rainfall is expected in 19 districts including Vellore, Tiruvannamalai, Salem, Erode, Trichy and few more in the list that is presented by Chennai weather and meteorological department survey.

In the press note released by this department, we get to see that due to heat convention and south west monsoon reasons, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry will have rainfall in few districts in next 24 hours. The predicted locations are as followers - Vellore, Tiruvannamalai, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Nilgiris, Tirupur, Coimbatore, Erode, Karur, Trichy, Ariyalur, Perambalur, Sivagangai, Virudhunagar, Theni, Dindugal, Madurai and few more cities.

Chennai and its surrounding locales would be having the cloudy weather and it could be followed by rainfall with our without thunders and lightening. The highest level of temperature predicted could be 34 Degree Celsius and minimum level is 26 Degree Celsius.

In the past 24 hours, the highest level of recorded rainfall in Vellore is 100mm, 90mm in Paadalur and Aarani, Penu Konda Puram-Paadalur-Vaaniyampaadi with 80mm, Rayakkottai-Palakodu-Polur-Krishnagiri with 70mm, Kudiyaatham-Arur-Kaattumannaar Kovil, Seiyyar-Mettur-Yercaud has seen 60mm rainfall.

50mm rainfall has been recorded in Anjatti, Chettikulam, Paiyyur and Kanchipuram followed by Hosur, Sri Perambathur, Thogamalai, Melaathur, Kaveri Paakkam, Pochampalli, Vellore with 40mm rainfall. Musiri, Thiruvaarur, Maayanur, Thiruvaalangaadu, Dharmapuri, Thenkani Kottai, Thirupathur, Gobichettipaalayam, Aalangayam, Salem, Aandipatti, Kuzhithalai have recorded 30mm rainfall.

Naduvattam, Perambalur, Aambur, Hoganekkal, Maaranda Halli along with 23 more places have seen 20mm and finally 10mm rainfall is recorded at Mangalapuram, Sendhamangalam, Senguttram, Bhavani, Chozhavandhan and 23 more places.
