Rainfall likely in Tamil Nadu today

A few places in Tamil Nadu is likely to receive rain showers. According to meteorological sources in this regard, it is stated that due to cloudy murky clouds day before yesterday, there were heavy rain showers in North India. Now, the clouds have subsided. However, due to heat convection in Tamil Nadu, light rain showers are likely in a few places.
In Chennai, rainfall with thunderstorms is likely around the evening time. Rainfall so far recorded is 30.4mm in Valparai, 12mm in Vellore, 4mm in Chennai.
