Rains expected in one or two places of Tamil Nadu

Meteorological Centre has mentioned that rains are expected in one or two places of Tamil Nadu to convection.
There are rains in Tamil Nadu due to convection. There were showers in Chennai Egmore, Purasawalkam, Kilpauk, Guindy, Saidapet, Ashok Nagar, Red Hills and Ekkatuthangal.
Official of Meteorological Centre said: There will be rains or thundershowers in one or two places of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry due to convection. As far as Chennai is concerned there will be rains in the evenings and nights. Gale wind speed reaching 45-55 kmph would prevail along and off north Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts. Fishermen are warned to be cautious while venturing into the seas.
