Tamil Nadu likely to receive rain showers today

Due to heat convection, a few places in Tamil Nadu are likely to receive rain showers today. According to meteorological department officials, southwest monsoon rain intensified in Kerala and Karnataka. Due to this, there will be moderate rain showers in Coimbatore, Nilgiris, and a few other districts.
In Tamil Nadu, there may be rainfall and severe thunderstorm rains in a few place in the next 24 hours. Chennai will have cloudy weather. During evening or night time, moderate or severe rain shower is likely. Maximum temperature will be 98.6 degree Fahrenheit and minimum temperature will be 82.4 degree Fahrenheit.
