Rains to continue till Thursday

Chennai will see mild showers and pleasant weather for another day. This will bring relief to the residents, but also increase traffic woes.
Speaking about the forecast, officials from the meteorological department said, We predict that the rain may reduce gradually after Thursday evening. An upper air circulation and formation of a trough had led to these light showers. While Nungambakkam received 0.7 cm of rain, Meenambakkam got 1 cm on Tuesday. The skies will continue to be cloudy and there may be rain or thundershowers in some areas of the city for the next 24 hours, officials said. The maximum and minimum temperature in the city was 35 degree Celsius and 26 degree Celsius respectively.
