Rains expected today in Chennai and some places of Tamil Nadu

Currently the South West Monsoon rains are prevailing in Tamil Nadu. At this juncture a well marked low pressure which had centered over northwest Bay of Bengal and system is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross the West Bengal coast. Because of this there will be rains today in some places of Northern districts of Tamil Nadu. There will also be rains in one or two places in southern districts. In Chennai there will be rains in some places during the evening or night.
