All TASMAC Shops to remain closed on Gandhi Jayanthi - 2nd October

A brief on the press release by Chennai District Collector Ms. P. Maheshwari.
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi on 2nd October, as per the alcohol retail sales Act and Tamil Nadu Drinks Act, all the retail shops of TASMAC including the bars attached Bars with F. L.-2 Licence, and Hotel Bars with F. L.-3 Licence will remain strictly closed.
No alcoholic drinks will be sold on 2nd October. Any violation will lead to stringent action on the related persons.
