Normal rainfall expected during North East Monsoon in TN

The North East Monsoon (October to December) over Tamil Nadu is expected during the third week of this month.
Normal rainfall is expected in all districts of Tamil Nadu during North East Monsoon.
The monsoon that is expected to hit the state after October 20 is likely to bring showers slightly above the average rainfall in districts like Coimbatore, Karur, Ramanathapuram, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri. Some of the districts which will receive slightly lesser than average rainfall are Chennai (7 percent) and Villupuram (9 percent),
