Chennai Meteorological Centre: southwest monsoon coming to a close

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that the weather conditions indicate the possibility of the southwest monsoon coming to an end in various parts of the Indian peninsula.

An official from the Chennai Meteorological Centre explained that southwest monsoon has come to a close in some parts of Telangana. Weather conditions indicate that the southwest monsoon is drawing to a close in several other areas of the Indian peninsula in the next 48 hours,

In the Tamil Nadu coastal area, an air-circulation pattern has developed in the upper atmosphere over the southwest Bay of Bengal. So, there are no chances of rain in the next 24 hours in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. There are prospects of rains in very few places due to thermal convection.

Chennai metro will remain somewhat cloudy. There will be a maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature will be 26 Degrees Celsius.
