Rains expected in one or two places of Tamil Nadu

Meteorological Centre has mentioned that there will be rains in one or two places of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
Chennai Meteorological Centre has mentioned: Due to convection activities, there will be rains in the next 24 hours in South Tamil Nadu. There will also be in one or two places in North Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. As far as Chennai is concerned, the sky will be cloudy. The maximum and minimum temperatures of the city will be 34 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius respectively.
Cyclone warning sign number 1 was hoisted in Karaikal, Nagapattinam and Pamban harbors.
According to the Cyclone Warning Division a depression is at present over central and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal. Fishermen have been asked not to venture into the sea by the weather department that has warned of rough to very rough seas.
