Rain in Tamil Nadu will be lesser - Chennai Meteorological Centre

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there would be lesser rains after 6th November as the depression zone formed in the atmosphere over the Central-west Bay of Bengal has started drifting, 

In a session with the press reporters, the Chennai Meteorological Centre Director Mr Balachandran explained:

The depression zone has stabilised over the Bay of Bengal 250 km south-east of Visakhapatnam. It is likely to intensify further in the next 24 hours and would change directions and move towards the northeast.

A maximum rainfall of 7 cm has been recorded in Rameswaram, Kangeyam. 

There are prospects of rain in many places in the Southern districts of Tamil Nadu and rain in a few places in the Northern districts.With the recently formed depression zone moving away from the central west are above the Bay of Bengal, rains will be less after 6th November.
