Apollo is now a part of GIPSA’s Preferred Provider Network

Apollo Hospitals, Chennai from the Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited group of hospitals has joined the PPN of the public-sector general insurance companies to provide treatment under the rates stipulated by it to the beneficiaries of the policy. Apollo Hospitals, Chennai is now a part of GIPSA - PPN (Preferred Provider Network) for providing cashless services to the beneficiaries of the policy.

Apollo Hospitals, Chennai has formally signed up a memorandum of understanding with GIPSA on the health packages offered by the group. The hospital has come into this pact in order to reduce the hassle faced by the patients and to provide quality health care at affordable rates to the beneficiaries.

PPN a program of public sector insurance companies for cashless mediclaim facility has been with effect from November 1st 2011, at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai paving way for smooth, cashless claim settlements. 

Insured members of National Insurance, Oriental Insurance, United India Insurance and New India Assurance can undergo cashless medical treatment at Apollo Hospital, Chennai with the help of their mediclaim card.

This policy curbs the necessity for policy mediclaim cardholders to wait for their settlement, long after their treatment is complete. The first thing that policyholders look for is the cashless facility; several policyholders’ longtime requirement will be met as a result of Apollo Hospitals joining the PPN.
