TNPSC to issue notification for Group 1 services

TNPSC will issue notification for Group 1 services for the posts including Assistant Collector and DSP.
 
Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Chairman K Arulmozhi has mentioned that, the notification for Group 1 services will be issued on 9th in order to fill up the 85 vacancies of Assistant collectors and DSPs.
 
The TNPSC Group 4 services were held yesterday throughout Tamil Nadu. TNPSC is conducting the written examination for recruitment to 5,451 vacancies in the Group 4 Services category. There were 325 examination centres in Chennai and the examination was also conducted 5296 examination centers.
 
TNPSC chairman K Arulmozhi and Controller of Examinations. V Shobhana at about 11 am made a surprise visit at the examination centre at Chennai Triplicane N K T National Girls High School. After inspecting the centre, they spoke to the media: We have permitted 15, 64,471 candidates to write the Group 4 examinations. Out of this 2291 were physically disabled candidates. 1, 1200, 56 candidates wrote examination in Chennai. In order to prevent malpractices, 5296 head controllers and 18216 supervisors were deployed. 566 flying squads were also pressed into service.
 
Apart from this, under every district collector, a crew was formed to oversee the examinations. It is understood that 80 percent of the permitted candidates have written the examination. The examination results will be published in short span of time. During the last one year 15 written examinations were conducted, 13 interviews were conducted and 22 exam results were published.
 
Very soon selection for the Group 1 services for the posts Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Assistant Commissioner, District Registrar and District Employment Office are to be conducted. There are 85 vacancies. The notification will be issued on 9th November in the website www.tnpsc.gov.in
 
As far as TNPSC competitive examinations are concerned, the candidates will be selected on the basis of eligibility and talents. So candidates should prepare the examination accordingly. Instructions to the candidates have been changed. The corrected instructions will be released on 7th on the website www.tnpsc.gov.in 
 
District Education Officer result

To fill up the 11 district education officer posts in the Tamil Nadu Education Department, the preliminary examination was conducted on 8th June 2014. More than  20000 B.Ed candidates have written the examination. 3000 candidates have passed the examination. Mains examinations were conducted for these candidates on 6th,7th and 8th August, The results are yet to be published even after the lapse of 15 months. DEO results will be published this week.
