Rain or thundershower is likely to occur in Chennai

The Meteorological department has mentioned that a low pressure trough (depression) can be seen over southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lankan coast. In view of this heavy rain may occur at isolated places in Southern Tamil Nadu.
There will be isolated rainfall in Northern Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. As far as Chennai is concerned the sky conditions will be generally cloudy in the morning and partly cloudy thereafter. One or two spells of rain or thundershower is only likely to occur in some areas.
