Elite TASMAC shops to open in Chennai in 2 weeks

Much-awaited TASMAC elite liquor shops will be opened in the third week of December in Chennai. Elite Shops for selling foreign alcohol brands. 52 more shops will be opened remaining part of the state.
The places where these shops are to come up include Spencer Plaza, Arcot Road in Kodambakkam , Velachery, Chennai - Tirupati High Road in Padi (opposite Britannia) and East Coast Road in Mamallapuram.
According to TASMAC sources, beer will be priced anywhere between Rs 145 and Rs 155, while other liquor varieties range from Rs 1,000 to Rs 3,300 in these shops. Electronic bills will be issued to consumers.
