Moon eclipse 2011 Chennai :Don’t Miss it

This the right time in this evening will get a special viewing – The last lunar eclipse of 2011.
The darkening of the moon`s disk can be seen from 6.15pm till 7.35pm as total eclipse happens. This would continue till 8.28pm when the moon begins to leave the total shadow. It would continue to be partially eclipsed till about 9.48pm.
Around 7.35 pm IST the moon will be completely consumed by the earth`s shadow.
For just under an hour, the disk of the full moon will almost disappear, turning a dark, rusty red.
