An announcement has been released by the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board to fill up the posts of 81 Assistant Engineers and Junior Engineers for the year 2016.

Post: Assistant Engineer (AE) - 64
Academic qualifications: Candidates should have completed Diploma course in Civil Engineering.
Monthly Salary: Rs. 9300/- - Rs.34800/- and Quality Allowance Rs. 5100/-
Post: Junior Engineer (JE) - 17
Academic Qualifications: Candidates should be degree holders in Civil Engineering.
Monthly Salary: Rs. 9300/- - Rs. 34800/- and Quality Allowance: Rs. 4400/-.
Age Limit: For both categories of posts above, the candidates must be under 35 years of age as on 1st July 2016.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the written test and the interview.
Application Fee: For Open Category, BC, MBC, and TC – Rs. 500/-. For other categories – Rs. 250/-.
