The Reserve Bank of India has imposed new restrictions for withdrawal from Jan Dhan accounts. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had demonetized Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes on 8th November. After this, time was given to exchange the void notes. Post demonetization, a whopping Rs 21,000 crore has been deposited in Jan Dhan bank accounts. It is understood that black money hoarders have deposited their money in the innocent poor people accounts. As per the notification, banks can allow account holders to withdraw only Rs 10,000 in a month.
