Cyclone Nada passed off peacefully through Karaikal coast

The low depression formed in the southwest Bay of Bengal near Chennai tuned to cyclone on Wednesday. The cyclone was named NADA.
Cyclone Nada passed off peacefully through Karaikal coast in Pondicherry region at 5.00am on Friday with its wind velocity weakening.
The administration has taken proactive measures to face the challenge of the impending cyclone.
Met department has forecast of heavy rain at isolated places over Tamil Nadu and Kerala today.
