Tamil Nadu government should revise auto fares once in two years

NGO N Logu, prayed for a direction from the Madras High Court to the Home (Transport) Department to fix a revised fare for auto-rickshaws in Coimbatore district as per the Motor Vehicles Act. In its counter, the Transport department submitted that the fares will be revised once in every two years, taking into account other factors relating to fuel price.
