Tirupathi temple: Arjitha Seva cancelled on the New Year Day/Vaikunta Ekadasi

An official of the TTD (Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam Board) informed that the Arjitha Seva will be cancelled on the days of the New Year and Vaikunta Ekadasi as huge crowds of devotees are expected to visit the Tirupathi temple on these 2 important occasions.
From the night of 31st December (2016) till the night of 1st January (2017) and for 3 days from 7th to 9th January on the occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi, Arjitha Seva is being cancelled in order to facilitate the huge crowd of devotees expected on these occasions for a relatively quicker Darshan with less waiting.
