Suprabadha seva gets cancelled in Tirupathi

Starting from today, for one month, the Suprabadha service will be cancelled at Tirupathi temple. Instead, Thiruppavai songs are to be sung here, say officials from the temple.
The Tamil month, Karthigai is getting winded up & the next month Maargazhi begins sharp at 04.59 am (Dec 16). Hence, the Suprabadha seva is cancelled at Tirupathi and from today, the Saturday, until 14th January. Instead of Suprabadham, one song from Thiruppavai will be sung every day during the course of these days.
These songs will be sung by Periyajeeyar Swamigal and Chinnajeeyar Swamigal. There are shrines of Seenivasa moorthi at the temple. The Thirupupavai song will be sung close to the Srikrishnaswami shrine. Furthermore, to all the temples belonging to the Thirumalai Thirupathi temple, and those belonging to Vaishnava temples, these Thiruppavai songs are to be sung.
