Dry weather will prevail in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry for the next 24 hours

The low pressure area over Andaman has stationed there itself. The Chennai Meteorological Centre has mentioned that due to this, there will be dry weather for the next 24 hours in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The northeast monsoon will be withdrawing in another 13 days. There is a deficit of rainfall by 61 percent. People are expecting rainfall due to the low pressure in Andaman.
An official of Chennai Meteorological Centre while speaking about this said: The low pressure area over Andaman is stationed there itself. There is no advancement. Meteorological Centre is closely monitoring this. Depending on its movement, the rain forecast can be predicted. Dry weather will prevail in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry for the next 24 hours. Tamil Nadu will receive light to moderate showers in the next few days. As far as Chennai is concerned the sky will be cloudy.
