Indian Bank introduces Cash Card for employees without bank savings account

To help tide over the situation after the demonetization of the currency notes of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000, in order to help the employees who do not have savings account in banks, has introduced a new facility Cash Card.

Indian Bank has introduced a new facility Cash Card to help the current situation of shortage of cash, especially experienced by the public and the economically poorer section of the society and the unorganized employees sector and the corporate institutions.

This facility has been developed based on digital technology to disburse salaries for the employees without any bank savings account. With this cash card, the organisations can pay the salaries without any difficulty on time.

This cash card can be used by over 10 lakh local organisations within the country and also over 2 Lakhs of ATMs. The card can be used to withdraw up to Rs. 50000/- daily or buy items.

Further, another scheme extending loans on jewellery has also been introduced by Indian Bank. In this new scheme, Indian Bank savings accounts holder can use an App in their mobile phones to fix an appointment as per convenience with the bank officials to seek loans on Jewellery.
