Passport offices in every district soon

Passport offices are to be set up in each district shortly. Presently, the head passport office is available in Tamil Nadu in the capital city of Chennai only. Considering this hardship of the people in the distant areas, the central government has planned to set up passport offices in each district headquarters.
The Minister of State for External Affairs, Mr V.K.Singh, who inaugurated the new passport office in the city of Dahod in Gujarat State, informed that the central government is planning to set up passport offices in all district headquarters for the benefit of the people to obtain passports easily and quickly.
Further, some of the glitches encountered in the prevailing online application system are being solved and passports will become easily available for one and all.
