Minor reshuffle of IAS officers : Madurai Collector Sahyam Shifted

In a minor reshuffle of IAS officers, Tamil Nadu Government today transferred U Sagayam as Madurai District Collector, replacing him with his counterpart from Tiruvannamalai, Anshul Mishra.
The services of Sagayam have been placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Handloom Weavers` Cooperative Society (Cooptex) for appointment as its Special Officer and Managing Director, a release from Chief Secretary Debendranath Sarangi said.
Braj Kishore Prasad, formerly joint secretary in the Union Health Ministry, on reversion to state cadre, has been appointed Principal Transport Secretary vice T Prabhakara Rao, holding additional charge, it said. Anshul Mishra will be replaced by Dr Pingale Vijay Maruti, Special officer and MD, Cooptex, as Tiruvannamalai Collector, it added.
