Fees of engineering, science and arts colleges to be hiked

In the coming academic year, the education fess of engineering, arts and science colleges are to be hiked. The government has stipulated various norms for fixing the fees in colleges and schools. School education department determines the fees of the schools. Director of Technical Education and education fees committee determines the fees of colleges. College and school fees are determined on the basis of infrastructure, student numbers, curriculum and additional facilities. In this academic year, it has been decided to increase the fees in the engineering, arts and science colleges.
Works connected with the fixation of fees have commenced. Self financing fees determination committee has asked all the engineering, arts and science colleges to send their applications before 28th February. The new fee structure will be in force for the next three years.
