The UIDAI has also warned unauthorized agencies who indulge in these kinds of work will amount to a criminal offence punishable with imprisonment under the IPC and, also under The Aadhaar Act.

UDAI has mentioned that people can be use the Aadhaar card or the downloaded Aadhaar card printed on ordinary paper and there is absolutely no need to get his/her Aadhaar card laminated or obtain a plastic Aadhaar card. Further UDAI has warned the people not to give the Aadhar card and personal information to unauthorized agencies.
