Regional Airlines Zoom Air has started its operations from yesterday. The airline becomes India’s 6th scheduled carrier for domestic skies. The first service was operated yesterday from New Delhi to Durgapur. The daily schedule will commence from 15th February. Koustav M Dhar, CEO and director, Zoom Air said: The airline has been funded with Rs 20 crores paid up equity. We plan to put in another Rs 20 crores during the year to expand operations. Currently we have three planes and by April we will have another two planes.
