Southwest monsoon rains in Tamil Nadu in a day or 2

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that the Southwest monsoon rain season may start in a day or 2 in Tamil Nadu.
The director of the Chennai Meteorological Centre, while explaining this, informed that it has been raining in most parts of Kerala over the last 2 days.
Thus, the Southwest monsoon rains season has set in Kerala from today (Tuesday, 30th May).
Subsequently, there are prospects of the Southwest monsoon rains season to start in other states of South India in 2-3 days.
The director told that there are prospects of rain in the next 24 hours in the interior districts of Tamil Nadu.
