Jungle Camping - Munnar

Camp ground situated in the Eastern Slope of the Western Ghats surrounded by evergreen forests offers a spectacular view of Kolukkumalai, Meesapulimalai “The second highest peak in South India”, low land of Tamil Nadu, etc.
Itinerary:
Saturday
- 10 am : pick up from Munnar Old Post office to Yellapathy by jeep .
- 12 pm : Uphill trek for 1 hour to camp site & Refreshment on arrival at campsite.
- 1.30 pm : Lunch (Veg)
- 2.30 pm : Program briefing, learn the art of tent pitching and pitch your own tent, short walk around campsite, Tea & Snack, Bird Watch.
- 5 pm : Play archery, volleyball with our Trekkers.
- 7 pm : Camp fire.
- 9 pm: Dinner (Bbq- veg/Non veg) & continue camp fire.
- 11 pm : Time for sleep or stare the million of stars & join us again at campfire.
Sunday
- 7 am : Morning tea/coffee
- 8 am : Breakfast ( Bread, butter, Jam, Boiled egg, fruits).
- 9 am : Trekking into the deep uphill (6kms).
- 1.30 pm : Lunch (Veg)
- 3.30 pm : group pic.
- 5 pm : Drop at Munnar bus stand.
