Whether you just bought your first DSLR camera or just got interested in photography as a hobby, this workshop will take your passion to the next level. You will have fun while you learn the skills rapidly. You will also meet fellow students who are equally passionate about photography. Whatever the age, education or background, this exciting workshop will open the door to the magical world of Photography.

Fundamentals of DSLR camera
Focal length of Lenses, Manual/Auto Focus
Controlling of Exposure with Aperture, Shutter speed and ISO
Setting correct White Balance
Understanding the Menu and settings
Using Aperture Priority mode
Using Shutter Priority mode
Using Manual exposure mode
Creating Depth of Field
Composing the photo for impact
Understanding Rule of Thirds for composition
How to capture movement
Sports and Action photography
How to take good Portraits indoor and outdoor
Understanding natural light for portraits and landscapes
How to take good Landscape photos
How to take good photos of children
How to take good photos in natural light
How to take good Travel photos
Fundamentals of Photo Editing
Weekly photo assignments
Review and critique of Photographs
There will be 4 sessions, 3 hours each on Sundays. Includes an outdoor session where you will shoot in a natural location. the tutor will help you understand and appreciate natural light and demonstrate how to take good landscape and portrait pictures outdoors.
Fee: Rs. 4,000 only all inclusive.
You should bring your own DSLR or Compact camera.
TUTOR: US trained, international photographer Sam Kumar has held solo exhibitions in Singapore, Thailand and India and has participated in many group exhibitions in US.
