Aadhar card is used everywhere and for everything. The identity card is not just required for your Ration card or PAN card, but also to get the blessings from lord Venkateshwara at Tirupathi. Devotees can get Tirupathi Laddu only if they provide their Aadhar details, according to the temple administration’s latest announcement.
There are announcements every now and then stating that Aadhar card is a mandate for LPG connections, PAN card, and many other government facilities and proofs. In spite of the Supreme Court having announced an interim ban, the centre keeps insisting on Aadhar card because of its need.
Amidst these, the central government has announced that Aadhar card is mandatory for opening new bank accounts. Also, for cash transactions above Rs 50,000, the card is mandatory.
All those who have a bank account should compulsorily submit their Aadhar details at banks before 31st December. If this is not done, the bank account will be ceased and it will no longer be valid.
