Price cut on ASUS mobile phones

Asus seems to follow the footsteps of Apple, as major smartphone models have all seen a deduction in price. After GST implementation, many smartphones from Asus including ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Max, ZenFone 3S have got cheaper in rate.
As per reliable resources, ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL) is sold for Rs 16,999 which was earlier sold for Rs 19,999. ZenFone 3 (ZE520KL) that was sold for Rs 17,999 is now sold for Rs 15,999. Coming on to ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL), the price is down from Rs 15,999 to Rs 14,999. And Asus ZenFone 3S Max that was priced Rs 14,999 is now available for Rs 12,999.
Similarly, there was a price cut introduced by Apple as well on all its iPhone models. There is 4 to 7.5 percent price cut starting from July 1. It is said that Apple is passing on the benefits of GST through these price cuts. iPhone 7 model which is the costliest iPhone device is sold for Rs 85,400 which is down from Rs 92,000 earlier.
