Subsidies announced for medium, small & micro industries

The medium, small and micro manufacturing industries can undertake Energy Audit with the auditors approved by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE).
50% of the Energy Audit cost will be borne by the state government and given as subsidy. The maximum amount is Rs. 75000.
Once the Energy Audit is conducted, the medium, small, and micro industries will need to carry out the recommendations as per the audit, including change of some machines/equipment or upgrading/modifying them or the technology development suggestions. The state government will provide a subsidy of 25% of the cost incurred on this activity. The maximum amount will be Rs. 2 Lakhs.
